This stainless steel contains at least 16% chromium, which forms an invisible protective layer on the surface to prevent rust. Another advantage is its resistance to high temperatures (up to 1500°F) without losing strength or becoming brittle. It also has good ductility and formability, making it easy to shape into different products. However, welding 430 stainless steel pipes can be challenging due to its high chromium content.
